Youth Softball Clinic - Elementary Softball Information
What: A tremendous opportunity to learn basic softball fundamentals in hitting, throwing, fielding, baserunning, and pitching. These sessions will be a great introduction to softball and help prepare players for the summer season. Sessions will be led by the Hawley High School Coaches and Players.
Who: Girls in Grades 3-6
When: 3 Saturday Mornings and 4 Monday Nights: 4/27, 4/29, 5/4, 5/6, 5/13, 5/18, 5/20 attend as many session as you'd like
Everyone - Mondays 6:30 - 7:45pm and Saturdays 11:15 - 12:30pm
Girls interested in pitching - Mondays 5:45 - 6:30pm and Saturdays 10:30 - 11:15am Bring an adult or older sibling to catch for you and learn about pitching so they can help you at home!
Place: Hawley Rodeo Grounds, potential backup site due to weather may be the Elementary Fieldhouse (announcement will be made)
Cost: $20
Equipment: If you have your own glove, bat, and helmet feel free to bring it with you. We do have equipment for girls to use as well.
**Schedule subject to changes due to weather and high school softball schedule. Sessions canceled due to poor weather may/may not be rescheduled depending on field and coach availability.
